Membership Information
Thank you for your interest in the NCM Fighter Squadron. The Squadron is a small group of people, founded on the
Internet, to support the National Corvette Museum and the Corvette hobby. Prospective new members must be nominated by a current
member of the Squadron or by the NCM staff.
If you have more questions about the NCM Fighter Squadron, or feel that you meet the membership requirements of the
Squadron and would like to be considered for membership, please send your questions and/or a short biography of yourself with
emphasis on your Corvette and NCM related activities to:

Membership Requirements
Membership in the NCM Fighter Squadron shall be subject to the following provisions:
A prospective member MUST be a member of the National Corvette Museum (NCM), however staff members of the NCM are not
eligible for membership in the Squadron with the exception of current members and the Executive Director.
A prospective member must demonstrate that he or she is a true supporter of the NCM by doing one or more of the following:
being an NCM Ambassador in a local Corvette Club, helping the Museum with a booth at local events, doing work at the NCM itself
when possible, or purchasing a personal brick at the NCM. A prospective member must show that he or she ACTIVELY promotes the
NCM.
The activities presented here are just some of the many ways that a prospective member can support the NCM. There are many
different avenues that a member can take and any and all will be considered.
A prospective member must be sponsored by a current Squadron member. After nomination and Squadron discussion and review
of a prospective member's resume, a vote shall be taken. To be selected to the Squadron, a prospective member must receive a
majority of votes with at least half of the active members of the Squadron voting in the affirmative.
A prospective new member will have one year to meet the above requirements. If membership requirements are not met after
one year, the status of the person's membership will be determined by majority vote of the membership.
A prospective member will be on probation for a period of 60 days or until requirement #2 has been met. Up until that time
the prospective member may be removed from the group by a majority vote with no dues being refunded.
Squadron dues are currently $50.00 per year.
